HOW TO GET CELLOPHANE TO SHRINK
Achieving professional results when shrinking cellophane requires attention to both technique and temperature control. A heat gun provides the most precise control, allowing you to maintain the ideal temperature range of 160-180°F (71-82°C). Hold the heat gun four to six inches away from the cellophane surface and move it continuously in a smooth, circular motion to ensure even shrinkage and prevent burning.
A hairdryer can also do the work! When using a hairdryer, keep it slightly closer to the surface but maintain constant movement to avoid creating hot spots. Begin at the center of your package and work outward, allowing the cellophane to shrink gradually for the most professional finish.
